The Mass General Emergency Department cares for patients who need immediate medical attention. Services provided include general emergency care, trauma care, pediatric care, and radiography. We have several specialized treatment areas within the ED tailored to meet the specific needs of our patients.
The Emergency Department team consists of physicians, nurses, and administrative staff. We are specialists in emergency care, with the experience and training to deliver expert diagnosis and treatment to all emergency patients. We are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Working as a team, the nurses and physicians help patients and their loved ones cope with illness or injury.
