Disparities Solutions Center celebrates five-year anniversary
THE DISPARITIES SOLUTIONS CENTER (DSC) at MGH was established in July 2005, as a first-of-its-kind center dedicated to the elimination of racial and ethnic disparities in health care. The Disparities Solutions Center at MGH celebrates milestone anniversary with special guests to mark the occasion.

Investigators at the MGH Center for Regenerative Medicine have confirmed that induced pluripotent stem cells iPSCs retain some characteristics of the cells from which they were derived, something that could both assist and impede future use.

Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital, the founders of Partners HealthCare, have again ranked among the nation’s top hospitals on the U.S. News & World Report annual Honor Roll of America's Best Hospitals. MGH ranked third nationally, while BWH ranked eleventh.
07/13/10: Many physicians do not accept responsibility to report incompetent, impaired colleagues
More than one-third of surveyed U.S. physicians did not agree that physicians should always report colleagues who are incompetent or impaired by conditions such as substance abuse or mental health disorders. Many also felt unprepared to report or otherwise deal with impaired or incompetent colleagues.
