In General Jason Wasfy, MD, MPhil, a resident in the MGH Department of Medicine, recently was honored by the Oxford University Society for his work as a recipient of Harvard School of Public Health's Presidential Scholarship in Public Service and as a founder of Americans for Informed Democracy, a foreign policy research and advocacy group. Wasfy is a former Marshall Scholar at New College, Oxford University. Shriners Hospitals for Children—Boston has been named a recipient of the 2007 Press Ganey Summit Award, which recognizes top performing facilities that sustain the highest level of customer satisfaction for three or more consecutive years. This is the second consecutive year the hospital has received the award for Outpatient Services. Attending physicians at Shriners Hospitals for Children—Boston also hold appointments at the MGH and Ronald Tompkins, MD, ScD, chief of the MGH Burn Service, serves as the hospital's chief of staff. |
