Cancer Pharmacology Core
The Cancer Pharmacology Core provides DF/HCC investigators with the necessary expertise and resources to design and undertake pharmacokinetic studies in the context of phase I and phase II clinical trials, and preclinical investigations.
Cardiovascular Imaging Core Lab
The Cardiovascular Imaging Core Lab at Massachusetts General Hospital is an independent facility dedicated to providing the highest quality services to the cardiovascular imaging community.
CBRC Cores
Overview of CBRC Cores. Please follow the link below for the main MGH Cores page
Center for Cancer Risk Assessment
The Center for Cancer Risk Assessment (CCRA) is devoted to the integration of molecular genetics and the clinical study of cancer predisposition. The Center has both laboratory and clinical components.
Center for Molecular Therapeutics
The Center for Molecular Therapeutics is actively investigating better ways to match individual cancer patients with particular targeted drug therapies in order to maximize the likelihood of a clinical response.
Center for Outcomes Research
Our research focuses on evaluating the impact of cancer and its treatment on patients, helping patients make better, more informed treatment decisions, and assessing and improving patient-centered cancer care.
Circulating Tumor Cell Center
The goal of our center is to transform the CTC-Chip into a robust technology that will allow detailed studies across multiple different types of cancer.
Circulating Tumor Cell Center
The goal of our center is to transform the CTC-Chip into a robust technology that will allow detailed studies across multiple different types of cancer.
hESC Core Facility
The purpose of the human embryonic stem cell (hESC) Core Facility is to provide an institutional resource for hESC research at Massachusetts General Hospital.
HSCI-CRM Flow Cytometry Core Facility
Offers custom-built instrumentation for cell sorting and data analysis.
Institute for Healthcare Policy
The Institute for Health Policy (IHP) is dedicated to conducting world-class research on the leading health issues.
Light Microscopy and Image Analysis Core
Includes state-of-the art Nikon upright (80i) and inverted (TE2000-U) microscopes.
Mental Health & The Media
The mission of the Center for Mental Health and Media is to save lives, comfort and educate families, and to change the public's outdated and inaccurate perceptions of the nature, causes and treatment of mental illness.
MGH Tissue Repository
The goal of the Massachusetts General Hospital Tissue Repository is to collect human tumor surgical specimens for distribution to researchers in the Massachusetts General Hospitals scientific community, and to the broader biomedical science community as well. Tumor specimens are now available for distribution to researchers.
Molecular Profiling Laboratory
The Molecular Profiling Laboratory (MPL) is one of the Cancer Center research centers that provide technological support to Cancer Center investigators.
Mood & Anxiety Disorders Institute (MADI)
The Center translates the latest research advances into practical information to help people work with their doctors toward the most accurate diagnosis and best possible treatment results.
Neurogenetics DNA Diagnostic Laboratory
The Neurogenetics DNA Diagnostic Laboratory conducts standard-setting molecular DNA diagnostic testing for over 25 rare neurodegenerative disorders.
Pallative Care
The Palliative Care Service, in conjunction with the Harvard Medical School Center for Palliative Care, continues to focus research on innovative projects to promote education in end-of life care for health care professionals.
Phase I Clinical Trials Program
Basic research is necessary to achieve an understanding of the normal and pathological state, but cannot, by itself, put new knowledge to useful applications. The bridge to application is created by the development of diagnostic tests, new drugs or treatment approaches that allow an intervention in patients.
Psychiatric Oncology
As a collaboration between the Department of Psychiatry, consistently rated the best program in the US, and the Cancer Center, we are able to complement the research on cancer treatments by focusing on the psychological and behavioral aspects of cancer.
